Wild Ben's Turkey Bourbon cake was a hit at Kelli's party!! His birthday was on 10*10*10.. Yum!!

Dump Truck Cake/ Medical School Cake..

Sorry it has been so long since my recent post.. Here a a few of the cakes that I have made over the past month.. The dump truck cake has some black bubble gum on the top that serves as coal from the dump truck.. Pretty neat!!

The next cake was for a guy who is in his 3rd year of Medical school.. Pretty simple but still for a great cause..

Here is another baby shower cake.. The tag on the cake was made from fondant and says, "Congrats Tempia.." She likes the cakes that look like presents.. I personally think that with the blue shade on it, it looks like a Tiffany's box..

This cake was done custom to an invitation.. I had a great time drawing this monkey on James cake for his first birthday.. I also used the same font on his dump cake that he ate on.. This is one of my favorite cakes so far..

On Saturday I delivered two birthday cakes, one of them was this bowling cake.. I was so happy with the way that it turned out.. I received an email this morning from Madelyn's mom it read,

"Thank you so much for doing the cakes for Madelyn's party. They were wonderful and I had so many compliments on how cute they were. Madelyn loved them."

Thank you for the email Nichole.. I am so happy that you guys enjoyed the cakes.. Happy Birthday Madelyn!!

Bridal Shower Cakes..

These cakes were made for a bridal shower.. The lady was serving anywhere from 50-60 guests so I wanted to make sure that she had plenty of cake.. The "K" stood for her soon to be new last name.. The blue and brown cakes were made custom to match the invites.. I also stacked the cakes on a three tiered silver cake stand.. It turned out really classy..

Here is the cake for JEA's March birthdays.. It has a green four leaf clover on the top and yellow cake for inside.. It turned out great.. Probably one of the easiest I have put together..

This cake was made for my daughter's 11th birthday.. She wanted a stacked/layered birthday cake.. The cake was tricky to make.. But I think that it turned out wonderfully.. Abbey requested funfetti cake, so I just mixed that together with my homeade white cake mix and it was delicious!! On top of the cake were her initials I made from fondant and painted yellow with food coloring.. Happy 11th birthday sweet girl..

I made this cake for a lady at Brant's work.. She asked for a unicorn cake and so I rolled out some fondant and etched it on, cut it out and rolled up some hair for the mane.. I thought it looked great!! I hope you guys enjoy it!!

I took the leftovers of the cake mix and icing and made my husband a cake to take to his job.. He is a detective so I just drew a badge and wrote Flowood on it..

Above are the pictures of the cakes from Matt and Madison's birthday this past weekend.. I think that they are adorable.. Madison's princess cake has a tiara on the top of it, and ribbon on the bottom layer.. They were both really fun to make.. I have to make a cake for a baby shower on this next Tuesday.. I have a friend of mine who has asked for me to do a Princess themed cake (Madison's cake), and a cake in the shape of a baseball (Matt's cake) for her kids.. They have birthdays close together and so she is planning on throwing one big bash for them!! I will make these cakes and post pictures of them in about a week and a half!! Can't wait!!

We had baby Jesus's birthday at my mom and dads on Saturday and this is the cake that I made.. I put an "M" on it for McClellan.. I also made a homeade caramel cake, I went ahead and cut it into cake slices and put it on one of my platters.. It was fast and easy enough for everyone to just grab a slice without having to cut it.. Let me know when your next birthday or special occasion is and I will be happy to make you something too!!

How to create fun for your young ens..

1 box of graham crackers
1 vanilla icing (duncan hines)
1 bag of chocolate chips
1 bag of red hots
handful of pretzels

Break graham crackers in half so that you have two separate graham cracker squares.. Then take a good ole sharp knife and cut the graham cracker long ways to make a triangle.. Then spread some icing on the graham cracker, break the pretzels in half to kinda make what you could call an antler.. Put that on top of your icing.. Use the chocolate chips for the eyes, and red hots for the nose.. Super cute!! This makes for great family time!!
